The Determination of Significance and Adoption of Existing Environmental Document form can be used to adopt a previously prepared environmental document that adequately analyses the environmental impacts of a new proposal. For example, an environmental impact statement prepared under the National Environmental Policy Act may be adopted to meet the requirements of the State Environmental Policy Act.
