There are four types of file formats that we use to distribute our publications on-line:
Adobe Acrobat PDF is our standard format. PDF files can be viewed with the free Adobe Reader.
Data supplements are generally provided in an Microsoft Excel format. Microsoft Excel documents can be viewed with the free Excel Viewer 2003. If you are a Macintosh user, Panergy provides an Excel viewer (icExcel) for Macs that costs $19.95.
Microsoft Word is the alternate format to our standard PDF format. Microsoft Word files can be viewed with the free Word Viewer 2003. This viewer is also compatible for Macintosh users.
Some of our publications have data supplements associated with them. Data supplements to our publications require a zip extraction software. Download appropriate zip software
