Purpose

The purpose of this chapter is to retain perennial rivers, streams, and lakes in the Nisqually River basin with instream flows and levels necessary to provide protection for wildlife, fish, scenic, aesthetic, environmental values, recreation, navigation, and to preserve water quality.
