Purpose

Regulation of water right diversions--Regulation of unincorporated partnership ditches. Watermasters shall not attempt to regulate water beyond the points of diversion from the natural stream on unincorporated partnership ditches. Such regulations may be carried on by ditch patrolmen as outlined under RCW 90.03.440. When approved by the department of ecology and water users a district watermaster may serve as a stream or ditch patrolman.
