Market-Based Mechanisms Ad Hoc Committee
Tutorial Series
Over the course of the summer, an ad hoc, self-selected committee of the whole Climate Advisory Team (CAT) will consider issues around multi-sector market-based mechanisms. A tutorial series is being presented to develop a common understanding among interested members, enable joint learning, and prepare the group to respond meaningfully to State requests for input as the design of a market-based mechanism gets underway with the Western Regional Climate Action Initiative.
Four educational webinars are being planned, beginning in late June and wrapping up in early September. Invited experts will provide a web-based presentation followed by interaction with CAT members. TWG members and the public are invited to observe, but interaction will be reserved for CAT members. See the agenda for teleconference and webinar information.

How to download and listen to MP3 audio files
Each webinar lasts approximately 2 hours. The recording has been split into 3 parts, in order to make smaller files that will download faster. If the files are played as a "playlist", you will not notice a break.
- You will need a computer with speakers or a headset, an internet connection, and an audio/media player that can play MP3 files.
- To download the MP3 files, click on the link. Save the the file to your computer in a location you can easily find, such as your desktop or your personal documents folder. If you are on a dialup connection, it could take several minutes for the file to download to your computer.
- To play the MP3 files, go to the location where you saved the files and double-click on one. The player will automatically launch and begin to play the file.
- If the file won't play, you may not have an audio player installed on your computer. You can download a free audio player here.
- If the file plays but you can't hear it:
- Check to be sure that your headset or speakers are properly connected to your computer.
- Check the volume setting on your computer. It may be set to mute or may be turned down too low to hear.
- You may not have a sound card installed inside your computer. You will not be able to hear any sound if you do not have a sound card.
