2008 Climate Change Interim Report

Leading the Way on Climate Change:
The Challenge of Our Time

- This version of Leading the Way on Climate Change: The Challenge of Our Time has been reformatted from the version posted on February 6, 2008. The report was reformatted for ease of use and readability. The content has not been altered, except for the correction described below. In addition, minor typographical errors were corrected.

The February 6, 2008 'Leading the Way on Climate Change: The Challenge of Our Time Interim Report' contained an error in the Preparation and Adaptation Working Group's section. The error was corrected to reflect more current research findings from the University of Washington’s Climate Impacts Group, as noted below:

Errata for the HB1303 Interim Report: A Comprehensive Assessment of the Impacts of Climate Change on the State of Washington (Last updated: 1/24/2008)
3. Key Findings: Page 3, paragraph 1. “Based on results from a number of Global Climate Models (GCMs), we can expect annual temperature to increase approximately 0.5°C, or roughly 1.0°F, per decade over the next 50 years.” This statement should be revised to say, “Based on results from a number of Global Climate Models (GCMs), we can expect annual temperature to increase approximately 0.3°C, or roughly 0.5°F, per decade over the next 50 years.”
