How To Use EPCRAMail

At the main menu, click "Add/View Stored Chemical Information" to begin
entering facility and chemical information. A "Help" button is available for
fields you may need assistance with, such as entering a “NEW” facility.
- Users need to complete all required fields that are displayed in
red before you can print a completed form or export data.
- The "Print Tier Two Forms" button will allow you to print a report for an individual site or for all your sites.
The "Print Blank Chemical Information Form" button will allow you to print a blank form to use as a worksheet.
- The "Print Tier Two Information Packet" button is included for those that would like to print the Tier Two instructional packet.
- The "Import" button allows you to import data from previous versions of EPCRAMail.
- The "Export Data" button allows you to export your data to the epcrax.mdb file (included in the download) and send it as an email attachment or to a disk. This file is an empty table that will hold your facility information after you click the "Export Data" button and provide the file location.
- The "Change Current Year" button allows you to use the software over multiple years. It sets the default year for reporting; the year that will appear on your printed form. Previously entered chemical data will be available for editing. You will not be able to save separate data for different years and any changes made to facility, contact, or chemical information will overwrite previous data entered.
- Users can save a copy of EPCRAMail for specific reporting years by creating a folder and renaming the file, such as “C:\EPCRAMail RY 2005”. We recommend saving both the EPCRAMail.mde and epcrax.mdb files.
- Back up,
backup, back up! Each year we receive a call or two from someone who got a new computer six months after reporting and no longer has a copy of their EPCRAMail software. It’s a good idea to copy the completed EPCRAMail
software – both files – to a network location, external hard drive, or CD.
