Parking at the Convention Center is available for $10 per day.

You can also park for FREE at the Tacoma Dome Park and Ride and take the FREE Tacoma Link light rail to the Convention Center/S 15th Station.

Bus

  • There are several options for bus travel from Olympia and Seattle.  We will have more information as the symposium approaches.
  • Tacoma Dome Station--Convention Center:  FREE Tacoma Link light rail to the Convention Center/S 15th Station.

Train

  • Seattle--Tacoma by Train:  Sounder Train to the the Tacoma Dome Station.

Airport Transportation Back to Top

Capital Aeroporter offers SeaTac transportation to and from any hotel in Tacoma. Call 800-962-3579 to make reservations, or visit the Capital Aeroporter Web site.

There is also a SeaTac-Tacoma Dome Station Bus that takes about 30 minutes.  See the Sound Transit Web site for more details. From the Tacoma Dome Station, take the FREE Tacoma Link light rail to the Convention Center/S 15th Station.

A block of guest room will be available at the nearby Hotel Murano (formerly the Tacoma Sheraton), one block from the Convention Center.  Use the Passkey Link to make reservations under our room block with the group rate.

There are also many other hotels within 5 to 10 miles of the Convention Center, along the I-5 corridor.  The Tacoma-Pierce County Convention and Visitor Bureau has information on hotels.  There are also several Bed & Breakfasts located among the magnificent old homes of North Tacoma.  See the Washington Bed and Breakfast Guild or Bed & Breakfasts Online for more information.

Registration includes hors d'oeuvres on Tuesday evening (April 28) and lunches on Tuesday and Wednesday (April 28 & 29). In addition, refreshments will be provided during morning and afternoon breaks.
