The Expedited Rule Making will update the rules to correct some clerical errors in the last rule making. It will remove from the rule provisions of the federal Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) program that have been vacated by a federal Court of Appeals. This rule making also will update the dates of incorporation by reference of several federal rules that are incorporated into the General Regulation for Air Pollution Sources. The effect will be to make the regulation more in line with the federal PSD program, which the Department of Ecology administers for the Environmental Protection Agency.
