This graphic shows how much beach and land the Long Beach Peninsula could lose if the supply of sand were reduced. These preliminary predictions were developed through the Southwest Washington Coastal Erosion Study, jointly directed by the Washington Department of Ecology and the U.S. Geological Survey.
