OLYMPIA - Due to weather conditions, vehicle emission-test stations in Clark County will remain closed today. Stations in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties are now open.
The Vancouver test stations are expected to re-open tomorrow, Saturday, by 10 a.m. Vehicle owners wishing to have their vehicle tested tomorrow should call (360) 254-2173 after 9 a.m. to check on the test stations' availability.
Next week, the test stations are expected to be open at their regularly scheduled hours. Stations are normally open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on week days, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
The emission-testing program helps reduce air pollution from motor vehicles by identifying high-polluting vehicles that need repairs.
