OLYMPIA – The Department of Ecology (Ecology) is convening the fourth Water Quality Policy Forum on March 28 in Spokane Valley to continue discussions about potential changes to the Surface Water Quality Standards (WAC 173-201A).
Ecology’s series of Policy Forums continues Ecology’s public discussion about its rulemaking processes and issues related to adopting new water quality standards for toxics. The Forum will also cover new tools under development to help the regulated community implement the new standards.
People may attend the Forum in person in Spokane Valley or they may participate remotely with a computer and a telephone.
The Forum is set for Thursday, March 28, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (PST) at CenterPlace Regional Event Center Auditorium, 2426 N. Discovery Place in Spokane Valley (http://www.centerplacespokanevalley.com/map_09.pdf.) To reserve a seat, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Free registration is required for webinar participants. Webinar participants will be able watch and listen to presentations by computer and telephone, as well as to ask live questions.
