Comment time extended for proposed Southeast King County coal mine cleanup plan

BELLEVUE – The Washington Department of Ecology (Ecology) has added a month to a comment period announced last week on a proposed cleanup plan and legal agreement for a former King County coal mine, once used as a waste disposal site.

The extended public comment period for the Landsburg Mine site, near Ravensdale, will run through Dec. 12, 2013.
