On Earth Day, over 800 volunteers planted, mulched, and worked to
help restore the Duwamish River at this year’s first Duwamish Alive!
celebration. Bringing together local and state governments, tribes,
non-profits and the community put Earth Day back in the public view, and
inspired a host of dignitaries to come out and recognize the efforts of
all involved. We thank everyone that contributed to the effort, and this
was such a success, we will be back again next year!
