
Aquatic Noxious Weed Control NPDES General PermitThe general permit covers the discharge of products used to control noxious weeds in waters of Washington state. Under the Washington State Water Pollution Control Act, a permit is required to discharge pollutants that alter the biological or chemical characteristics of a water body.

Login to SecureAccess Washington. Under “Add a new Service,” look for “ Aquatic Noxious Weed NPDES Permit.” Click “Apply” in the left column. Your registration request will be sent to the Washington State Department of Ecology. Approval will take one or more business days. You will receive an approval email. Click on the link in the approval email.
Login to SecureAccess Washington. Under “Services” go to Aquatic Noxious Weed NPDES Permit. Complete the online form.
