Aquatic Noxious Weed Control NPDES General PermitThe general permit covers the discharge of products used to control noxious weeds in waters of Washington state. Under the Washington State Water Pollution Control Act, a permit is required to discharge pollutants that alter the biological or chemical characteristics of a water body.
How to register onlineTo register for a Aquatic Noxious Weed Control NPDES General Permit online, you must first sign up for a SecureAccess Washington (SAW) account. A SAW account gives you access to a growing list of government services while ensuring your privacy. Register for the Aquatic Noxious Weed Control General Permit Online - in 3 easy steps
Click “sign up” below. Complete the 6 part sign up sequence. Enter your information including your name and email address. You will receive an email confirmation. Click on the link in the email.
Login to SecureAccess Washington. Under “Add a new Service,” look for “ Aquatic Noxious Weed NPDES Permit.” Click “Apply” in the left column. Your registration request will be sent to the Washington State Department of Ecology. Approval will take one or more business days. You will receive an approval email. Click on the link in the approval email.
Login to SecureAccess Washington. Under “Services” go to Aquatic Noxious Weed NPDES Permit. Complete the online form.
