Ecology accepted written comments on the draft permit and fact sheet from February 15, 2012 to March 30, 2012. Ecology hosted a workshop and hearing March 27, 2012 in Yakima, Washington. The purpose of the workshop was to explain the general permit, describe the proposed changes, and answer questions. The purpose of the hearing was to provide an opportunity for people to give formal comments on the proposed draft permit.
