Peshastin Irrigation District PipingThe ProjectThe project increases the Peshastin Irrigation District's (PID) water delivery system's efficiency by converting 9,900 feet of open canal into a piped system. The increased efficiency will allow PID to divert less water from the Peshastin Creek, adding an additional 360 acre/feet of water to summer streamflows. OpportunitiesMore water will be left in the creek to benefit fish during the summer when water demand is highest. Expected Outcomes360 ac-ft of water will be added to streamflows. |
