Georgia Pacific Camas Mill operates a pulp and paper mill in the City of Camas. The mill site is bound on three sides by the city. A little over a quarter of the mill site lies north of the Camas Slough (an arm of the Columbia River that connects to the Washougal River). The mill produces pulp from both wood chips and recycled paper. Pulp from wood chips is produced using the Kraft process. The mill bleaches the pulp using an elemental chlorine free process.
