The Washougal Compressor Station is one of several unmanned stations that Northwest Pipeline GP (NW Pipeline) has located approximately every 50 miles along its natural gas pipeline system that spans from the Canadian border near Sumas, Washington to the San Juan Gas Fields in New Mexico. The Washougal Compressor Station takes natural gas from the pipeline and increases the pressure in the pipeline to increase natural gas throughput. |
