Public Meetings to be Held:

In response to several stimuli, the Department of Ecology’s Air Quality Program and the seven local clean air agencies have developed a form to be used by Air Operating Permit (AOP) permittees when reporting their compliance.  The recommendations for the development of this form came from our auditors, members of the public, and from EPA.  Sources that hold AOP permits are required by rule [WAC 173-401-630(5)] to submit, at least annually, a certification of compliance with the terms and conditions of the permit.  This form that is being proposed is for sources to use to report that certification.

On February 25th and 26th Ecology will hold public meetings to hear from members of the public.  Issues to be discussed include:

Meetings will be at 2:00 PM at the Eastern Regional Office, 4601 N. Monroe Street, Spokane, WA on February 25, 2003.

Also, at 2:00 PM at the Northwest Regional Office, 3190 160th Ave SE, Bellevue, WA on February 26, 2003.
