Westhaven State Park, South Jetty

Three beaches in Grays Harbor County were sampled weekly from May 24 through August 30, 2016. All three beaches are popular surfing beaches and they all had good water quality with little or no bacteria present during most sample events. Results are presented in the following table. Details on each beach are presented in the text below.

Westhaven State Park, Half Moon Bay

During the monitoring period, Half Moon Bay had good water quality. On May 24, this beach had sampling results in the swim advisory range, but subsequent sampling showed that bacteria levels had dropped into the safe swimming range.

Westhaven State Park, South Jetty

During the monitoring period, South Jetty had excellent water quality. The beach met swimming standards during all periods sampled.

Westport, The Groynes

During the monitoring period, the Groynes beach had very good water quality. The beach met swimming standards during all periods sampled.
