Groundwater Assessment

Shelton Laundry and Cleaners Groundwater Monitoring

The Shelton Laundry and Dry Cleaners site is located in the town of Shelton in Mason County, Washington. Groundwater samples will be collected every 18 months from select wells to monitor concentrations of tetrachloroethene (PCE) that continue to exceed the state Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) cleanup level. The groundwater data will be used to help determine if this site can be removed from the MTCA list.
