EAP Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Groundwater Monitoring

Documentation describing the standardized field methods we use during our groundwater studies:

• Manual Well Depth and Depth-to-Water Measurements. 
• Installing, Measuring, and Decommissioning Hand-driven In-water Piezometers
• Groundwater Level Measurement using Pressure Transducers
• Purging and Sampling Water Supply Wells
• Purging and Sampling Monitoring Wells
• Tagging a well with a unique well tag
• Groundwater Sample Collection for Analysis for General Chemistry, Metals, and VOCs (expected 2012)

We've also produced a series of video tutorials on how to load, edit, and search groundwater data in the Ecology Environmental Information Management (EIM) System. Tutorials include:

• Batch loading well and other groundwater-related locations into the Ecology EIM system
• Batch loading well-based depth-to-water measurements into the Ecology EIM system
• Loading continuous groundwater data (transducer data) into the Ecology EIM system
• Searching for groundwater information in the Ecology EIM system
