You can refer to Ecology’s current rule activity page for information on the revision.
The below document has information related to the revision of WAC 173-50. We will add additional information as it is available.
The Washington Department of Ecology is beginning a public process to revise a rule to address inadequate fee structure for its State Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program. The new rule will enable Ecology to meet the legislative requirement that its fees support the full cost of the program. The changes include increasing the fees for accreditation and changing some Ecology business practices to reduce operating costs.
