DIAMOND LAKE -- PEND OREILLE COUNTY: 1994

Diamond Lake is located about seven miles southwest of Newport, and six miles north of Camden. It has no surface inlets, and drains via Moon Creek to Sacheen Lake and the west branch of the Little Spokane River. Diamond Lake was monitored by Ecology staff only

COMMENTS FROM 97/08/11 AQUATIC PLANT SURVEY Patchy plant distribution, many areas with rocky or sandy or loose bottom sediment and no plants. Only surveyed part of lake; boatlaunch on south shore and wetland area due to limited time, motored rapidly through most of the area.
