What We Monitor

From Willapa Bay moorings, we collect continuous near-surface, mid-channel water temperature, salinity, density and chlorophyll data.  The instruments log internally and data is currently available upon request.

From Puget Sound moorings, we collect near-shore water temperature, salinity, density, chlorophyll, turbidity, and  dissolved oxygen data. The instruments transmit data in real-time to the Northwest Association of Networked Ocean Observing Systems (NANOOS) website.  We are currently transitioning to a new telemetry system; data will post as the new system comes on live.
