Ecology-PSAMP Marine Sediment Monitoring Data Summaries

The Puget Sound Assessment Program's Sediment Monitoring Component is a long-term marine monitoring program that assesses the health of Puget Sound sediments at various geographic scales (i.e, Urban Bay, Region, Stratum, Puget Sound-wide). One of our main goals is to provide easily accessed, high-quality data and information to assist the Puget Sound Partnership, managers, and others in evaluating the overall condition of Puget Sound sediments.

Sediment data is available via a downloadable Access database, publications, or by request. In addition, short data summaries can be found here for each of the recently sampled sampling frames. A more complete summary and interpretation of each data set will be included in an Ecology publication and posted to this website at a later date.

We encourage you to contact us directly if you have questions or would like additional information on a specific topic or sampling region.

Note: Data are considered provisional and subject to change without notice until the complete reports are published.
