
Here are some draft products detailing the Status and Trends Methods for 2009. We are now using these methods to prepare a field methods manual (the protocol). The protocol will consist of individual modules (the methods). The manual will be posted to the Internet when ready during spring 2009.

A conceptual database schema* fashioned after the NOAA design (pdf). This document contains a conceptual data model design based on the data elements documentation. *This is a draft and the content is subject to change. The final product will be posted here in January 2009 which will contain the technical database naming conventions for each data element.

Folders describing field methods.*(53.6 MB zip) Each folder has:
A table of variables developed from the material below.
- An image of how the data relate to an earlier draft of the schema.
- Photographs of representative equipment to be used.
- A descriptive synopsis (Word document) of the field procedure.
- An image of the prototype field form with the fields highlighted that pertain to the method in question. In most cases, the ISEMP 2007 field form was used as the prototype.

- Calculations for rafted methods will require understanding differences between wading and rafting field procedures. View table.
