Background

The Chelan County commissioners adopted the watershed plan in June 2007.  The plan’s focus is on water quantity and an evaluation of water storage opportunities. The detailed implementation plan, completed in October 2008, addresses specific new work on these topics. The group has identified storage opportunities and has requested funding for implementation. The planning group chose not to address instream flows.
