On September 5, 2006All regulated Hazardous / Dangerous Waste shipments in the US must begin to use a new Uniform Hazardous Waste manifest form, continuation sheet (Forms 8700-22 and 22a) and instructions under the authority of the US Department of Transportation and the US Environmental Protection Agency. |

Ecology will update the Dangerous Waste Regulations,
Chapter 173- 303 WAC next year to correspond with the new federal rule.
Until then, the new manifest is required under the authority of the US

| EPA intends to develop an electronic manifesting system
called the e-manifest. The e-manifest plans were postponed in 2005,
based on stakeholder comments and available technology. The Agency will
continue to work on this system, which is anticipated to save the
regulated community money and decrease waste tracking errors. Get
