
PAHs are defined through a specific list of twenty chemical constituents of concern in section WAC 173-303-040 Exit Ecology, of the Dangerous Waste Regulations, Definitions. . For the purposes of the regulations Chapter 173–303 WAC Exit Ecology, PAH means those hydrocarbon molecules composed of two or more fused benzene rings.
There is no dangerous waste (DW) level for PAH chemicals.
The following PAH chemicals are extremely hazardous (EHW) dangerous wastes and would have the WP03 waste number or code if they were in sufficient concentration to designate.
