Cooperation keeps 12,000 pounds of mercury out of the environment

In an Earth Day celebration, Ecology director Jay Manning presented Quicksilver Champion awards to 17 individuals and groups that have helped to prevent more than 12,000 pounds of mercury from entering the environment. He also recognized 12 businesses, organizations, and government agencies that have joined with Ecology as Quicksilver Partners.
