Request for Proposals (RFP)
The Department of Ecology’s Washington Conservation Corps
encourages state and federal agencies, and non-profit
organizations to apply. Please select the type of assistance you
require (i.e. Field Crews or Environmental Restoration/Education
IP) and click on the corresponding link.
- Field Crews. The WCC anticipates funding to
provide matching funds for field crews. The mission of the
WCC is to conserve and enhance the natural resources of
Washington State and provide young adults an opportunity to
enrich themselves through meaningful work and community
service. Our goal is to complete critical projects that
restore salmon, steelhead, and trout populations to healthy
harvestable levels, construct or maintain recreational
assets, or otherwise improve the natural resources in the
state.
Field crews are available to work with public and non-profit
entities to support on-the-ground natural resource
improvements.

- Environmental Restoration/Education Individual
Placement (IP) Program. The WCC anticipates funding to
place individual WCC Members with organizations to help
accomplish Habitat Restoration/Enhancement & Environmental
Education. The WCC will not, however, be requesting new
sponsor proposals for the 2009-2010 cycle. Please check back
in with us in May-June 2010.
Please feel free to call or e-mail any questions you might
have regarding the process. For crew information, please contact
Nick Mott at (360) 407-6946 or e-mail at
nmot461@ecy.wa.gov. For
information about our Individual Placement program, please
