Grant Round Schedule

The schedule for the 2007-2009 FCAAP grant round is as follows. Please note that activities of the Flood Control Assistance Account Program are contingent on actions of the 2007 legislative session. Should any revisions become necessary, applicants will be notified as soon as possible.

April 2, 2007	FCAAP applications available on this web site.
May 8, 2007	Postmarked hard-copy and electronic FCAAP applications due from local jurisdictions to County Engineers AND Ecology.
June 5, 2007	Postmarked hard-copy and electronic form: County Prioritization for 2007-09 FCAAP Grant Applications due from County Engineers to Ecology.
June 6 – July 10	Review of applications by FCAAP Grants Team; FCAAP staff to clarify applications with local jurisdictions as needed
July 11, 2007	Grants Team Meeting for ranking applications, Ecology Third Flood Library Meeting Room, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
July 23, 2007	Ecology's proposed award list available for public review on this website
August 8, 2007	PUBLIC HEARING for comments on Ecology tentative award list of eligible projects and plans, Ecology Third Flood Library Meeting Room, 10 a.m.
August 15, 2007	(Postmarked) deadline for written comments on tentative award list to Ecology
August 22, 2007	Final award list and responsiveness summary (subject to legislative appropriation) posted on the this website
Sept. 1, 2007	First available effective date of FCAAP grants for the 2007-2009 grant round
