Washington Coastal Marine Advisory Council

The Department of Ecology formed the Washington Coastal Marine Advisory Council to advise the State Ocean Caucus, an interagency team of state agencies, on ocean policy. The Advisory Council also coordinates on and provides local perspectives on and solutions to marine resource issues, projects and conflicts. Ecology is seeking nominees for the vacant tourism seat. Applicants who are interested in the Tourism seat can download the nomination announcement (PDF), which includes information on how to apply to be on the Advisory Council.

The Ruckelshaus Center is serving as the neutral convener for the Advisory Council. In this capacity, their staff work with the Advisory Council to assist with meeting agendas, facilitation, notes, meeting minutes, and meeting logistics. Meetings are open to the public.
