Washington's Ocean Resources

Advisory Group

We are pleased to announce Ecology’s appointments to the Coastal Advisory Body on ocean policy. The Department of Ecology is forming this body to advise the State Ocean Caucus, an interagency team of state agencies, on ocean policy. The group will also coordinate on and provide local perspectives on and solutions to marine resource issues, projects and conflicts. Please see a list of the individuals selected to participate on this group (PDF).

These meetings will be open to the public. If you are interested in receiving announcements about these meetings, we encourage you to sign up for our ocean email listserv.

The Ruckleshaus Center will be serving as the neutral convener for the advisory body. In this capacity, their staff will work with the advisory body to assist with meeting agendas, facilitation, notes, meeting minutes and meeting logistics.

We are excited to start working with the coastal advisory body! If you have any questions about the coastal advisory body, please contact Jennifer Hennessey (360-407-6595).
