Meetings

Public meetings of the State Ocean Caucus and Ocean Advisory Group will occur a few times every year in communities on the outer coast. These meetings will provide an opportunity for the State Ocean Caucus and coastal communities to:

  • Give briefings and updates on activities
  • Gather input and direction from the advisory group and general public on specific issues
  • Sponsor educational sessions
  • Allow time for general comments or feedback.

If you would like to present a briefing, please request time on the agenda three weeks prior to the public meeting.

Caucus Working Meetings

The State Ocean Caucus meets regularly to provide interagency collaboration, develop agendas for larger meetings, and address administrative issues. The Caucus uses these meetings as work sessions (View 2008 State Ocean Caucus meeting agendas). Those who wish to brief the Caucus on specific issues that come up between larger, public meetings are welcome to attend. Please contact the Caucus Coordinator to reserve space on the agenda.
