Classes Offered

Staff members and experts in our community teach classes on estuary and watershed subjects for individuals and groups. Our public classes are free. However, the non-profit friends group of Padilla Bay Foundation gratefully accepts donations (Checks payable to: Padilla Bay Foundation). Teacher workshops and Coastal Training Program classes may have costs associated, please view individual class descriptions for more information.

Classes for families with children

Beach field trip

Fun and educational classes designed for families with children include art classes, mini explorers and junior ecologists.

Classes designed for adults include birding, foraging, behavioral ecology, and more!

Classes for all ages

Padilla Bay aquarium

Safaris, beach seines, and aquarium tours are offered regularly for any age group.

Coastal Training Program

The Coastal Training Program provides practical, science-based training to professionals who make decisions about shoreline management in Western and Eastern Washington. Unlike our other classes, this program does not utilize EventBrite for registration. View and Register for Classes.
