SEPA Rulemaking Advisory Committee

Senate Bill 6406 instructed Ecology to convene a SEPA Rule Making Advisory Committee consisting of members representing at a minimum, cities, counties, business, environmental interests, agricultural interests, cultural resources interests, state agencies and tribal governments. The committee will assist Ecology in updating exemption thresholds and the environmental checklist. Here is the updated Advisory Committee Roster.

March 27, 2013 - Feedback received by Advisory Committee on Categorical Exemptions

On March 20, 2013, Ecology sent an email to the Advisory Committee asking each interest to review the synthesized list of Categorical Exemption topics that were indicated as high priority by committee members. - Alternative draft proposal “C” – This proposal emerged from the SEPA Rule Making Advisory Committee meeting held on 10-2-2012. Draft proposal “C” is an alternative to proposals A and B contained in the Preliminary Draft Proposed Changes to WAC 197-11 above on pages 2-5. The remainder of the Preliminary draft proposed changes to WAC 197-11 remains unchanged.
