Coastal Conditions

Waves

  • Grays Harbor bar: includes a station description, a list of available data, and data products.
  • Columbia River bar: National Data Buoy Center site providing current wave and weather conditions at the Columbia River bar, as well as links to real time data collected during the past 21 days, historical data and climatic summaries.
  • Cape Elizabeth: National Data Buoy Center site providing current wave and weather conditions at Cape Elizabeth, as well as links to real time data collected during the past 21 days, historical data and climatic summaries.

Tides

  • Predictions: using the tidal reference stations, tidal predictions for the CRLC can be obtained.

Water Level

  • Historical data: using a pull-down menu interface, historical tidal data can be retrieved. For data in the CRLC, select from Astoria (Tongue Point), Jetty 'A' (Columbia River), or Toke Point (Willapa Bay).
  • Preliminary data: using a pull-down menu interface, preliminary tidal data can be retrieved. For data in the CRLC, select from Astoria, OR or Toke Point, WA.

Weather

Camera on the coast

  • Ocean Shores: located atop the Sands Inn, Caroline Inn and the Canterbury Inn
