Beach profile location This site is located in the vicinity of Gearhart, Oregon at the southern end of the Camp Rilea National Guard Base. To reach the site from US101/26, proceed west on Sunset Beach Road to the beach. Continue north on the beach 1.75 km (1.09 miles). Go east to the top of the dune and the lone telephone pole. The monument is approximately 20 m (66 ft) southeast of the pole. The profile begins near the monument. |
