Now Accepting Applications
WCC Crew and Individual Placement positions begin October 6,
2008 and end September 25, 2009. The WCC is now accepting
applications for 2008-2009. Click
here for details.
For current WCC Corpsmembers interested in a 2nd year with the WCC,
please submit a letter of interest, resume, and a letter of
recommendation from your current supervisor to headquarters by
August 8th, 2008; there is no need to fill out a separate
application. If you are interested in a crew position,
please email your information to
Marcee Peterson or
Karen VanLeeuwen.
If you are interested in an individual placement position,
please email your information to
Erin Curl.
WCC Crews Provide Flood Relief in Iowa
Two WCC crews head across the county to assist a small
community completely submerged by the flood water in Iowa.

2008 WCC Olympics
Ready to compete against your fellow Corpsmembers to win the
gold? The WCC Olympics, sponsored by Rob Crawford's Skagit
Crew, brings spectacle, food, and competition for Corpsmembers,
friends, and family. The event will be held in Burlington
Friday, August 15th.

Crew and IP of the Quarter
The WCC is proud to announce that Bob Milner's Wenatchee
Crew has been announced as Crew of the Quarter for January to
March 2008! Austin
Rose from the Padilla Bay Reserve has been announced as the IP
of the Quarter for January to March 2008!

New WCC Program Coordinator
The WCC would like to welcome, Erin Curl, the new WCC
Individual Placement and Outreach Coordinator. Erin comes
to us from Washington State Parks where she was a WCC
Corpsmember in 2003-2005 and is ready to give back to the
program she owes many of her successes to, the Washington
Conservation Corps.

WCC Giving Garden Website Online
The WCC Giving Garden began
in 2006. Thanks to the support of many contributors and an MLK
mini-grant from the Corps Network (formerly NASCC), the garden
continues today. The Alums that initiated this project are
looking for current members who would like to continue this
project. If you are interested, please contact Troy Warnick at
