Request for Proposals (RFP) for 2007-08 AmeriCorps Crew

Individual Placement - Application Guidelines

The Department of Ecology’s Washington Conservation Corps encourages state and federal agencies, and non-profit organizations to apply. Please select the type of assistance you require (i.e. Field Crews or Environmental Restoration/Education IP) and click on the corresponding link.

  • Field Crews. The WCC anticipates funding to provide matching funds for field crews. The mission of the WCC is to conserve and enhance the natural resources of Washington State and provide young adults an opportunity to enrich themselves through meaningful work and community service. Our goal is to complete critical projects that restore salmon, steelhead, and trout populations to healthy harvestable levels, construct or maintain recreational assets, or otherwise improve the natural resources in the state.

Field crews are available to work with public and non-profit entities to support on-the-ground natural resource improvements. These crews will work directly for your organization for the year beginning October 1, 2007 through August 31, 2008. Download Application Guidelines (word)

  • Environmental Restoration/Education Individual Placement (IP) Program. The WCC anticipates funding to place individual WCC Members with organizations to help accomplish Habitat Restoration/Enhancement & Environmental Education. The WCC will not, however, be requesting new sponsor proposals for the 2008-2009 cycle.  Please check back in with us next summer.
