Pilot Program Advisors Group

The Advisors Group includes representatives from: 
  • Local, state, and federal agencies
  • Conservation and environmental interests
  • Mitigation bankers
  • Agriculture and business communities.

The Advisors Group assists Ecology in the implementation of the Wetland Banking Pilot Program (Pilot Program) by providing unique perspectives and input that helps Ecology identify opportunities for improvements to the Pilot Program.  Additionally, the Advisors Group will help Ecology identify potential revisions to the draft rule.

The Advisors Group reconvened in October 2006 to discuss and provide input and recommendations on feedback submitted regarding the Pilot Program. Click here to view the meeting schedule.

With input from the Advisors Group, Ecology anticipates continuing to improve the Pilot Program by creating guidance and outreach documents that clarify various aspects of the wetland banking program and the bank certification process.
