Oil Spill Prevention, Preparedness and Response Summit
The six months of focused work between Ecology and the USCG culminated in an oil spill summit co-chaired by Admiral Houck and
Governor Gregoire. Prior to the summit there was a
public event to receive comments on the shared strategic work plan.

signed the Memorandum of Agreement
concerning the partnership between Washington State and
the US Coast Guard.
