New! The Grays Harbor GRP will be updated (concentrating on Chapter 4) in summer/fall 2009. To learn more about GRPs and the update process, the public is invited to a workshop from 10:30am-12pm on August 25th, 2009 at: Timberland Library Following the meeting there will be a 30-day public review period for the revised GRP. Other Changes in the last VersionIntroductory pages, Chapters 1-4, and the Appendices of the Grays Harbor GRP were updated with a new version date of March 2003. This version includes new strategy maps produced in ArcView that are based on a new page-grid. There is no overlap between pages with the new page-grid. The strategy numbering has been changed in the new version, but the prefix has not been changed. The strategies and the matrices are the same as the June 2001 version, other than the new numbering, with one exception. Strategy number GH-2, Connor Creek, (formerly SOC-29) was moved to the Grays Harbor GRP due to the new page-grid. The booming strategy priority tables have also been updated, and use specific “Potential Spill Origin” sites. However, the tables were not developed based on trajectory modeling. Priority of strategy deployment is primarily based on relative sensitivity of the resources likely to be impacted. The updated chapters are available below as Adobe Acrobat pdf files. A single file is available for users with a high-speed connection. For slower connections, two separate files are also available. GRP users with old versions should replace all pages in the introduction, Chapters 1-4, and Appendices with the March 2003 version.
