Tacoma Fire Department hosts a hands-on oil spill response equipment training. Participants included responders from the Port of Tacoma, the City of Tacoma utility district, and the Pierce County Sheriff's Office.
These photos were taken on the Thea Foss Waterway on January 3, 2007. Tacoma FD is the recipient of two trailers stocked with oil spill response equipment.
