2010 Administrative Fee - Final Tier Schedule

Manufacturers of televisions, desktop computers, laptops and monitors sold in or into Washington state must submit a registration form and pay an administrative fee to Ecology to cover their costs associated with implementing the statewide E-Cycle Washington Electronics Recycling Program.

Payment of your administrative fee is due to Ecology January 1, 2010. The total yearly administrative fee to be collected by Ecology for the year 2010 is $357,000. The table below shows the final 2010 administrative fee schedule. Ecology sets fees using a sliding scale, based on a manufacturer’s yearly sales of covered electronic products to covered entities. The scale is divided into 7 tier categories. Ecology calculates the fee schedule based on data from market research and data submitted from manufacturers and retailers, adjusted for Washington state, and the number of manufacturers registered in the program.
