Green building events and activities

Tacoma-Olympia LEED User's Group (TOLUG)- LEED User's Groups are informal venues to share information and experiences on how specific LEED credits are addressed on building construction projects. This is a free monthly one-hour breakfast meeting (first Thursday of the month), with a guest speaker presenting on how specific LEED credits can be achieved, challenges, and lessons learned, followed by questions and answers.

Energy Outreach Center - For information on energy-saving design ideas and building techniques, please visit the Energy Outreach Center site.

Olympia Salvage - Offering deconstruction services and a distribution center at the Port of Olympia.

Project GreenBuild - Focuses on growing the market for sustainable homebuilding in Southwest Washington.

ReHarvest Center in Tacoma - Reusable building materials and other salvaged items are available at the ReHarvest Center's warehouse.

Sound Builders ReSource - Operated by South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity, the Habitat ReStore offers vintage, surplus, and new building materials and supplies.
