Eagle US 2, Longview
We regulate the water and hazardous waste activities at the Axiall Corporation's Eagle US 2 plant in Longview.
Facility information
Eagle US 2 processes salt to make:
- Liquid chlorine
- Caustic soda
- 36 percent hydrochloric acid
- 12.5 percent bleach (sodium hypochloride)
- 76 percent sulfuric acid
- Hydrogen
It sends treated wastewater to the Nippon Dynawave pulp and paper mill for treatment. The mill then sends the treated wastewater to the Columbia River.
